Grimley Parish is a rural and widely dispersed community, with distinct settlements and hamlets spread across the area rather than centred in a single village. While the Parish Council owns land only at Sinton Green and Monkwood Green, it remains fully committed to representing and supporting all parts of the parish. Councillors work proactively on a parish-wide basis, pressing for improvements from Highways and Regulatory Services at County Council level, and engaging with the District Council’s Planning Department to ensure appropriate development and infrastructure. In addition, the Council collaborates closely with local PCSOs to address issues such as speeding and inconsiderate parking, and works alongside the Canal & River Trust and the Environment Agency to enhance riverbank management, improve water quality, and help minimise the risk of flooding throughout the parish.
